Favors - Candy Buffet
So I want to do a Candy Buffet for our favors. I have over 20 clear glass jars/vases that I'll fill with candy that's red, brown, orange, yellow, and bright pink. All the jars/vases are from Homegoods, The Christmas Tree Shop, Walmart, and Michaels. Around each jar I will have brown and glitter ribbon with a tag identifying each candy. I'm still up in the air about the container the guests are going to use. I think it'll be either a chinese take out box or a tin tie bag.
Possible Candy Choices:
* Butterfinger Minis
* Reese's PB Cups
* Atomic Fireballs
* Circus Peanuts
* Nonpareils
* Butterscotch Buttons
* Jordan Almonds
* Choc. Malt Balls
* Reese's Pieces

Here's my brown satin and brown glitter ribbon for the candy buffet jars.
I really like these take out boxes. I like the damask strip going down the middle - I would prob do something brown or orange. The tag is cute too! This is from weddingbee. http://pics.classifieds.weddingbee.com/24154.May_2009_031.JPG.resize.
Take Out Box Attempt #1
This was my first attempt on the take out container. I used ribbon to dress it up a bit, but it started to fray on the ends and the ribbon didn't seem to hold as tightly to the box as I had hoped.
Take Out Box Attempt #2
This was the second attempt. I used scrapbook paper on this one and so far it seems to be the better option. The paper is tight to the box and the ends aren't frayed. Next time I might make the paper strip a bit wider like the inspiration picture above.
I love sparkle! These monogram tag/stickers are perfect for those chinese take out boxes. This image is from favorsnbridal.com.
Let Them Eat Cake!
I like the hexagon shape of the cake. The beading is nice too. I would use different flowers and a different color for the beading. This cake is from Cynthia Peithman, Cakeline.
The cake is from Graceful Cake Creations - project wedding. I def want gerbera daisies incorporated into the cake and I really like the diamond shape on the tiers, and the off set square tiers.
The brown would go great with my wedding colors. I prob wouldn't have the chocolate on top. I might add some gerbera daisies around the cake. The cake below is from Unique Cakes - Goshen, IN.

Cake Topper
I love the way the "J" looks! The dark and light brown look really nice and I think it would look great with my colors! This picture is from Twinkle Twinkle Bridal Jewelry & Accessories.
I want a topper that's the letter R. This topper is from Toppers with Glitz.
