The Proposal
We met in Biology class sophomore year in high school. My friend said she accidentally lost my number and when I gave it to her again, she handed it right over to him in front of me. We were both trying to play hard to get, but that game didn't last too long.
After my college graduation he went on a 6 month deployment to Iraq and with a ring in his pocket he returned home safely. After two weeks of being in Virginia together we made the trip back home to his parents in Quincy, MA.
On March 6, 2006 we took a day trip to Boston. We walked down by the waterfront and he was acting a little weird looking to see who was around and talking about how I'm the only one for him and how much he loves me. That's when he pulled out this red velvet heart shaped box with a gorgeous ring in it and got down on one kneee and asked if I would marry him!
While he was over in Bahrain, he got together with a jeweler and helped design it. We never talked about what I wanted for a ring, but I'm extremely happy with the outcome...I love it!

Wedding Bands
I definitely didn't think we would actually buy our bands the first day we started looking! But when the price is right you gotta scoop it up, right?! We got both of our bands at Macy's. My band is to the left and Den's is to the right. Love it!!
